The 2018 small berried clusters produced this wine from our estate vineyard with powerful intensity, color and promising aging potential. The taste is sure bliss in a bottle. Black plum gently wrapped in a texture of cashmere; has a bit of feisty cinnamon & spice that intertwines with a voluptuous body of violets, raspberry and blackberry nuances which bodes for a second glass. 100% Pinot Noir; 9 months of French Oak barrel aging 25% new; 250 cases produced

Located in a cool climate region, the Cuttings Wharf vineyard is so close to the San Pablo Bay the Pacific Ocean breezes and fog encourage a longer growing season for the grapes which leads to overall maturation and full ripe flavors without compromising the crisp levels of acidity in its Chardonnay. Jasmine and apricots sweep the nose finishing with a veil of nutmeg and grapefruit peel. The palate is ripe apricots dipped in vanilla bean with a side of honeyed pear. Distinctive mineral aspect and long finish make it complete. 100% Chardonnay; 9 months French oak aging ; 40% new oak
We've dedicated this wine to our lovely daughter, Aimee, whose graduation from college coincided with our 10th anniversary of Maboroshi wines in 2009. Little did she know at 4 as she frolicked in the Grand Cru vineyards of Chambertin, her father was busy carving out a plan to create his own precious pinot noir. A bit austere at first with an underlying intensity that promises aging potential. An earthy black cherry, blueberry nose explodes into an Asian spice, tobacco and dusty rose before finishing with seamless black currant and raspberry tastes. 100% Pinot Noir; 9 months of French Oak barrel aging 25% new; 75 cases produced
